Community Achievers National
The Foundation Phase learners spent some time at Watson's Retirement Home. They entertained the residents with reading, singing songs and sharing some kindness and joy. The students also made bookmarks that were handed out to the residents.
It is a proven fact that children interacting with the old, frail and lonely residents of retirement homes provides a fantastic two way opportunity to engage in a different dimension, passing on valuable relationship skills from generation to generation while bringing big smiles and happiness to everyone. Rundle is proud of the compassion shown by their yourng students at this wonderful opportunity to look after the community teaching life skills of a different dimension.
